About us

Chairman Messages

The Jurisdiction of activities of NVTB is entire Pakistan. NVTB conducts various Technical and Professional programs, with several institution courses under its progressive management, and developed a unique place all over Pakistan. The main objective of the NVTB is to monitor & evaluate the training through the physical visit and other means to ensure the quality of training. Arrange and conduct final Trade Testing & Certification for successful trainees. NVTB also provides assistance to the organization to develop and implement in-plant training programs to address the skill deficiencies of employees and organize seminars, workshops, and other programs to promote training and employment.

Working Mechanism

NVTB design and develop training courses in accordance with emerging needs with the involvement of experts from relevant industry. NVTB does not have its own training institutes but collaborates and works in partnership with industry, training institutes / colleges and other organizations to arrange training which is:

1. Relevant to the Needs of Local Industry / Employment Market.
2. Flexible to Respond to Change.
3. Recognized for Employment Nationally and Internationally

SCOPE OF VOCATIONAL FIELDS IN PAKISTAN

Courses on Vocational Education are not limited to students only, who are probably in college and school. This type of training can be imparted during the job as well. Such a job-oriented training is important for the economy, and ensures that there is no need for training in future in the career.

NVTB TEAM’s FUNCTION

Provide a productive link between industry and training providers for enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and responsiveness of training.
Identify, analyze and prioritize training needs of the geographical areas.
Meet training needs by arranging training, re-training, and skill upgrading programs for educated youth and already employed.
Develop, validate and determine training standards and curriculum content based on employment and industry need analysis to ensure qualitative and relevant / need-based training.
Develop and implement special training programs for women, children of industrial workers to prepare them for gainful employment or some other income-generating activities.
Plan, develop and implement any other programs and activities to promote for the benefit of individuals and industry.
Support the informal sector i.e. Ustad-Shagird System by providing them opportunities for specific training and trade testing.
